American former professional baseball right fielder who is known for playing on the Great Falls Dodgers, the Vero Beach Dodgers and the Bakersfield Dodgers. In January 2022, he was named the first base coach for the New York Mets.
He attended Tabb High School.
From 2006 to 2010, he was the outfield/base-running coordinator for the Texas Rangers, and from 2011 through 2018, he was the Baltimore Orioles' first base and outfield coach. As a player, he played for the Cleveland Guardians organization.
His younger brother is former NFL running back Terry Kirby, who was drafted by the Miami Dolphins.
In 2019, he worked alongside Manny Machado and Ryan Flaherty on the San Diego Padres as their first base coach.
