Professional badminton player known for her competition work with the Chinese Taipei team. She is known for having been ranked world number 1 in women's singles in December of 2016.
She first began playing in the third grade. Soon after, she was the youngest player to be featured in the first division games. At 15 she began to compete internationally and in 2012 she won her first Super Series title in the Japan Open.
She has been awarded several gold medals for her playing including at the Asian Championships in Wuhan in 2017 as well as the Summer Universiade in Taipei in 2017.
She was born and raised in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Her father was an avid badminton player who introduced her to the sport.
