English actor and former Royal Marines Commando known for his appearances in shows like Vikings and the reboot of Coronation Street. Due to his training and physical build, he is often cast as intimidating "heavies" in film and television. He discovered his passion for acting in 2013 and began taking drama classes.
He was accepted into the Royal Marines Commando Basic Training at the age of 16, and years later, was deployed to Afghanistan. He was later medically discharged from the force due to an injury to his eye.
