Champion of the Food Network reality competition series Restaurant Express who was the only competitor during her season who lacked formal culinary training. She would become the executive chef of the Las Vegas-based restaurant Jayde Fuzion and began starring in the series Asian at Home.
She was interested in illustration and being a Cartoonist in high school. She then developed an interest in performance art and dance, performing as a professional belly Dancer.
Upon moving from South Korea to the United States, she overcame boredom by watching the Food Network and learning to create her own style of cooking.
She married Jacob Longest in 2009 whom she met in South Korea.
She won the Robert Irvine presented show Restaurant Express.
