Born Jose Rivera Morales and known best by his professional name Kendo Kaponi, this Puerto Rican rapper, reggaeton artist, music producer, and songwriter released a 2011 album titled Kendo the Demon: Danger, as well as several mixtapes.
He started writing music when he was just eighteen years old. He released his debut mixtape, The Ghost Writer, in 2009.
He contributed to several singles by fellow Puerto Rican musician Cosculluela.
A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, he later settled in the city of Bayamon.
Early in his career, Kendo Kaponi was mentored by the reggaeton artists Baby Rasta and Gringo.
