Since 1994 he has been a co-anchor for KNBC-TV in Los Angeles on the 5, 6, and 11 PM newscasts. Before that Henry was an anchor, reporter, producer, and director at KABC-TV in Los Angeles from 1971 to 1978 and again from 1982 to 1993.

From 1978 to 1982 he worked at WMAQ-TV in Chicago, Illinois. Henry also worked at KENI-TV in Anchorage, Alaska from 1967 to 1968 and at KHVH-TV  in Honolulu, Hawaii from 1966 to 1971.
