The look you give when you’ve designed the bedroom of your dreams 😏. When furnishing our home I looked for pieces that were fun, affordable and fit both our styles (can you say challenge?? haha). We ended up turning to @allmodern and we couldn’t be happier with how the pieces all work together. Tour + shop #mymodernmakeover at the link in my bio. #sponsored
Moody tones and minimal finishes...a dinner party is all that is missing. Who would you invite for dinner? Design by Louise Liljencrantz
I'm thinking tonight sounds like a good night for some pizza...who has good recs for pizza in Kansas City? PS. How good does this pie by @themodernproper look???
Trying to squeeze in client projects, filming @queereye and family time often leaves me with little time for sleep. Throw in some jet lag to that mix and you have the perfect storm for my sensitive skin! So I was thrilled when the team @olehenriksen reached out about their retinol-free product called Goodnight Glow. It's gentle enough for my sensitive skin because it uses a plant based alternative to retinol called Bakuchiol. Now, no matter how crazy my filming schedule is, Goodnight Glow's 8 hour hydration is giving me all the beauty sleep I need! #byeretinol #sponsored
There is nothing I love more as a designer than attention to detail and the corresponding color of the upper cabinets and marble backsplash here are giving me all the feels. Not to mention the beautiful mixture of materials 😍 Who else wants to move in? Design by ASPLUND STORE Photography by @inredningsfotografen
Current mood: waiting patiently for the weekend...
It's #justthetip Tuesday and today we are talking all about scale. You know the saying, go big or go home? Well, when it comes to making a statement in your design, adding larger scale pieces can do the trick. Wether it is a large scale piece of art, drapery that extends your whole room or plants that go floor to ceiling- adding in bigger pieces could be just what your room needs. Head to my stories for more examples...//Leave me a comment below with your design question and check back next Tuesday to see if yours is answered, happy designing! People often (mistakenly) believe darker color palettes will make their homes feel dark and stuffy. But, when done correctly and in rooms with enough natural light- beautiful moments like this can be achieved. What are your thoughts on this stormy grey bedroom...weigh in below! If you've been following me you know that one of my favorite sources for art, for both my clients and my personal home, is @artdotcom. Art is such an important element in creating a personal space, but it can be tricky to curate a collection that you love and that works well together. Understanding this struggle, Art.com just revamped their site to make it easier than ever to discover and buy art you love. When you’re looking at art on the site, there’s now a button under each piece called “View Similar Art.” Just tap it and the site will find additional art with the same look and feel- this is great when you’re like “This piece is ALMOST exactly what I’m looking for, but not quite” or “I want two pieces, so I need something to complement this awesome one I found.” I seriously love this and it sparked an idea…check out my story about it today for a fun challenge! #artdotcom #sponsored

After a day full of traveling, and ending up in cities you never meant to go to, all I want is a cup of coffee, my bed and #bae. What are you guys up to this weekend? Photography by Miss K.B. Photographie
I may have lived in LA for the last 3 years, but I can now officially call it home thanks to my friends @allmodern. They helped me bring my home design to life and create a space both me and my husband love. Using neutral and warm colors + comfortable and modern furniture I was able to create a space that I absolutely love coming home to.
