Defender and midfielder who is widely known for his tenure with the Essendon Bombers of the Australian Football League. He won the premiership title as a regular contributor at wing for the team in 2000.
He was drafted at #12 overall by Essendon during the 1999 AFL Draft. He debuted with the team that same year.
He finished runner-up for the AFL's rising star award in 2000 before being diagnosed with cancer in 2003. After undergoing a series of hindrances, both with cancer and physical injury, he retired from the AFL in 2008.
He was raised with his two siblings Daniel and Kayla by his parents Joseph and Lucy. He and his wife Belinda have two sons together named Aidan and Lucas.
He frequently played against Gary Ablett Jr. of the Geelong Football Club during his tenure with Essendon.
