Cornerback selected in the 5th round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers who played his college ball at the University of Oklahoma. He gained acclaim off the field for his relationship with Black Ink Crew star Dutchess Lattimore.
He initially committed to Baylor before switching his allegiance to Oklahoma. After a redshirt freshman season, he would end his college career earning first-team all-Big 12 honors twice as well as second-team All-American honors in 2015.
He finished his rookie NFL season on injured reserve with a groin injury.
He has a daughter from a previous relationship.
He was drafted by the Panthers as a hopeful replacement to Josh Norman who had departed the team in free agency.
