Forward who played for a number of teams during his long career, most notably Monaco from 1990 to 1995 and Internazionale from 1996 to 1999. He was a member of the French national team from 1993 to 2002.
He began his career with the French club Grenoble in 1984.
He won the World Cup with France in 1998, the same year he helped Internazionale capture the UEFA Cup.
His father Jean Djorkaeff played central defender in over 500 matches in the French football league.
Patrick Vieira was his teammate on the World Cup-winning 1998 French squad.
