Men's singles and doubles tennis player that primarily plays in the ATP World Tour. In May 2023, was named the 54th best tennis player in the world. During his playing career, he competed in events such as the Australian Open, US Open and the French Open.
He initially began his professional tennis career in 2017. As a junior tennis player, he won an US Open singles titles and a doubles title.
In 2022, he became the first Chinese male tennis player to reach the third round of the US Open since the 1800's. He later made more history in 2023 after defeating Taylor Fritz in the 2023 Dallas Open, becoming the first Chinese male to reach an ATP tour championship match and defeat a top 10 tennis player.
He grew up living with his family in Hangzhou, China.
