William Reynolds was an American actor born in Los Angeles, California in 1951. He was known for his wide range of emotions and his ability to portray authority figures. He had a close relationship with Jack Webb and had roles in Pete Kelly's Blues (1959) and Dragnet 1967 (1967). His most successful role was as "Special Agent Tom Colby" (1967-1973) on The F.B.I. (1965). His last role was on the Webb-produced series, Project U.F.O. (1978).
