Macedonian guitar virtuoso who first rose to fame as a founding member of the rock group Leb i sol. He has been credited for inventing the ethno-rock music genre.
He started playing guitar at the age of 13.
His playing style is heavily influenced by Balkan folk music, which is recognizable in his use of odd meters and non-traditional scales.
His late brother, Goran Stefanovski, was a famous dramatist.
He has played alongside Tommy Emmanuel in the guitar trio King of Strings.
