Medal-winning rock climber and former World Cup finalist. He is also a former world champion and junior world champion. He has competed and won rock climbing events in countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Austria and others. He won the IFSC Climbing World Cup in 2004 and 2006.
He first began rock climbing as a teenager back in 1997. A few years later in 2001, he was named the Junior World Champion.
He won his first career gold medal during the 2003 World Championships in Chamonix, France. He later followed his performance with a repeat in 2005 at the World Championships in Munich, Germany.
He grew up living with his family in Brno, Czech Republic.
He is a native of Brno, Czech Republic just like Pavel Zacha and Monika Bagárová.
