Nigerian track and field athlete known for competing in the 100 m hurdles and as a sprinter. She won a gold medal in the 100 m hurdles at the 2022 World Championships and at the 2022 African Championships in Athletics. She set a new world record at the 2022 World Championships with a time of 12.12 seconds.
She competed at the 2013 African Youth Championships and won a silver medal. She studied at the University of Texas El Paso.
She has also won gold medals in the 4 x 100 m relay at the African Championships in 2018 and 2022 at at the Commonwealth Games in 2022. As well as the United States, she has competed in countries such as Germany and France throughout her career.
Her parents were both school teachers.
