Center who began his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2017 after being selected in the second round of the 2017 NBA draft. He spent four years with the Washington Wizards from 2018 to 2022 before rejoining the Lakers prior to the 2022-23 season.
He split his high school basketball career between Bishop Kearney in Irondequoit, New York and Huntington Prep in Huntington, West Virginia. He was a 2015 McDonald's All-American.
He played two years of college basketball for Indiana University and was selected to the Big Ten All-Freshman team in 2016. During his first season in the NBA, he spent most of the campaign with the Lakers' G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, and performed well with the team, earning First-team All NBA G League honors.
