Vernon both starred in and directed Hammerhead Jones. He has since gone on to be an executive producer on several more films and television shows. Known as Ted "Wolfman" Vernon, he is one of South Florida's most colorful personalities. Outside of acting, Vernon spent several years as a professional boxer. He achieved local fame when he decided to embark on an ameteur boxing career in his late 20s. His career boxing record is 21 wins and one loss. Ted is also a well-known car collector in the South Beach/Miami area. He owns and operates South Beach Classics and helps everyday people learn how to purchase and collect cars. Vernon has 35 years of knowledge in the car business, and his expertise appeared in the book, "Collecting Cars for Fun and Profit." His customers range from small business owners, retirees, tourists, celebrities, professional athletes, and even royalty from the Middle East. He and his wife, Robin Ziel-Vernon, currently reside in Miami, Florida.
