Tanuj Virwani is a Hindi film actor born in Mumbai to veteran yesteryear actress Rati Agnihotri. He attended Arya Vidya Mandir and Bombay Scottish School, and initially wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become a real estate developer. However, after playing a small role in a school adaptation of 'Merchant of Venice' in class 10, he developed an interest in acting. He worked as a clapper boy in 'Aao Wish Karein' and assisted on 'Chance Pe Dance', before landing his first film 'Purani Jeans' in 2012. After 'Luv U Soniyo' and 'One Night Stand', Tanuj assisted on Kamal Haasan's trilingual film 'Shabash Naidu' and worked on the web series 'Inside Edge'.
