WWE Hall of Famer famous for popularizing the bulky physiques and charismatic personalities found in today's professional wrestling. He is also a former bodybuilding champion who has been featured in magazines like "Muscle Fitness."
He was a champion shot putter in high school and played for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.
Following his retirement, he released the autobiography "Tangled Ropes" and gave speeches to high schoolers about the perils of steroid use.
He was born Eldridge Wayne Coleman. He has children named Joey and Capella.
He was training partners with future actor and governor Arnold Schwarzenegger during his days as a bodybuilder.
