Johyun is a member of the Korean girl group Berry Good which has become known for singles like "Don't Believe" and "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo." The group also took the Rookie Star Award at the 2017 LBMA STAR Awards.
She became a trainee in 2013 and would later debut with Berry Good in 2016.
As a child, she was a short track skater and won the National Short Track Speed Skating Tournament in the 500m category for her division in 2006. However, an injury put a stop to her athletic career.
She was born in Bundang-gu, Seongnam.
Like her bandmates Gowoon and Daye, she enrolled at Dongduk Women's University to study broadcasting and entertainment.
