An established painter and jewelry designer, he is also the owner of The Vault, a massive event space in the Gaslamp District, that hosts large scale events. The venue is known for its funky décor, much of which was designed by Mr. Ziegler. He began designing and building his own cars and motorcycles when he was a teenager, and now does so professionally with his side venture, The Toy Box. He is also an industrial designer, and has designed products for Fisher Price, Hasbro, and Mattel, among other companies. He holds multiple patents. He is currently serving as the host of the new History Channel series, "Invention USA", a documentary series about inventors pitching their ideas to two successful inventors, in the hope that they can secure funding.
