Belgian film reviewer and columnist who published work under the pen name of Panbello. He is particularly known for his work on Jewish influences in the Film Noir genre.
He studied at Ghent University, but did not graduate.
In 2004, he published a crime novel entitled Better Late than Dead.
He was born in Ghent, a Dutch-speaking area of Belgium. He was of German-Jewish descent on his father's side.
He wrote many essays about Film Noir, a genre influenced by author Raymond Chandler.
