Phillips started working at an early age. After dropping out of school in the 10th grade, she started modeling. One of her more notable model castings was for a Jordache Jeans campaign in 1984 for the company’s sponsorship of the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. Phillips was selected Penthouse Pet for June 1993.
