In 1985, Goldin starred in the ABC sitcom, Hail to the Chief, playing the son of the first female President of the United States (played by Patty Duke). The series was canceled after one season. Goldin also had a recurring role on the 1980s sitcom Kate & Allie as Allie's daughter Jenny's boyfriend, Jason. He also appeared in the Alf episode titled Stop in the Name of Love (1988).
