Rajpal Yadav attended the Bhartendu Natya Academy located in Lucknow from 1992 to 1994. After finishing the acting course, he went to National School of Drama located in Delhi. After finishing his entire course, he moved to Mumbai in the year 1997.
Rajpal Yadav met his wife when he went to Canada for a film shoot. "That's when he met Radha. He visited her home. After that, for 10 months he spoke to her over the phone from Mumbai. Thereafter, she shifted to India and they got married." He ran into legal trouble and was awarded 10-day imprisonment in 2013 for filing a false affidavit in court. Yadav had spent four days in jail from December 3, 2013 till December 6, 2013 after which a division bench of the High Court had suspended the sentence on his appeal.
He made his Telugu language debut in 2015 with Kick 2, and also played the main antagonist in controversial filmmaker Faisal Saif's multilingual film Amma.
A court in Delhi on 14-Apr-2018 convicted the bollywood actor and Comedian Rajpal Yadav, his wife Radha Yadav and a company for not repaying Rs. 5 crores to a businessman.
