Artist, author, and publisher known for his humanistic-themed works. He was an acclaimed war correspondent as well for the Gamma and Sygma press agencies for which he worked from 1968 until 1995.
He was an assistant to famed Photographer Wilhem Maywald while he was a student at the art school Atelier de la Grande-Chaumiere. He was a Photographer during the Vietnam War.
He photographed and drew his native town of Normandy, France, throughout his career.
