American Language poet who is known for The Son Master, Crisis Intervention, and other works. He published his first poetry collection, Agreement, in 1978.
He was the son of Hungarian-Jewish immigrants. His parents opened a New York City art gallery during the 1950s.
He studied at City College of New York in the 1960s.
He married Judy Seaton in July of 1977. He died in his late sixties of a heart attack.
He wrote many pieces for L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E Magazine, a publication dedicated to Language poetry and co-edited by Charles Bernstein.
