American sculptor known for his figurative work made from bronze. He sculpted Dancing St. Francis, located at Wartburg College.
He studied at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota and at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.
His career spanned over 50 years and he created more than 650 different works.
He was the son of the Rev. Clarence and Naomi Granlund.
He taught at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design where Nick Schenk studied.
