Patricia Reyes Spíndola is a Mexican actress, director, and casting director born on July 11, 1953 in Oaxaca, Mexico. She and her sister, Marta Reyes Spíndola, own and operate an acting school called M & M Studio in the Colonia Juarez neighborhood of Mexico City. Her breakthrough movie was "Los Motivos de Luz" in which she plays a mother who kills her four sons. The movie went on to win the "Concha de Plata" for best direction in San Sebastian in 1985. In 1998, she was honored to become a judge in the prestigious San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain. She is also a member of the board of the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and was elected in June 2007 as an officer of the Asociación Nacional de Interpretes, the Mexican union for broadcast artists.

Spíndola studied to become an Actress in several ateliers in Mexico and London. She made her début in the movies in 1972, with El señor de Osanto, and two years later she started working in the Teatro Fru Fru.
