After performing with a number of other groups, he returned to Katzenjammer, now known as Kyuss, and spent the next few years recording and performing with them. He then performed with the group, The Dwarves, before signing on to the work with the band that would make him a household name, Queens of the Stone Age. He played bass for Queens of the Stone Age from 1998 to 2004, and then went on to guest perform with a number of artists and groups, including Motorhead, Masters of Reality, Mark Lanegan, and Turbonegro. He also started his own group, Mondo Generator in 1997, and has continued to perform and record with the group since then. Recently, he has performed with Kyuss, now known as Vista Chino, on tour, and guest performed on the most recent Queens of the Stone Age album.
