Right-handed pitcher that was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays during the first round of the 2017 Major League Draft. He was drafted out of Central Florida Community College. Following the 2021 regular season, he was named the number one pitching prospect in the Blue Jays' minor league farm system.
Prior to Central Florida Community College, he played college baseball at Florida International University. He was named the JUCO Pitcher of the Year in 2017.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Washington Nationals on July 29, 2020. He is best known for his powerful fastball which averages over 100 miles per hour.
He is a native of the Odessa, Florida. He attended high school in the Spring Hill area.
