Egyptian film actor and comedian best known for Elly Baly Balak and El-Limby. One of his strengths is physical comedy. He has won numerous awards including the Egyptian Cinema Oscar Award, the ART Award for Best Comedy Cinematic Actor, a Dear Guest award for his 2014 series Viva Atata and a Film Association Award and Film Critics Award for Best Actor in the 2017 movie Al-Kinz.
He began his acting career with several small, supporting roles before catching his first break in the 1994 film Road To Eilat where he acted alongside movie star Salah Zulfikar. In 2000, he played a notable character in El Nazer before taking the lead in the 2002 film, El-Limby.
