Mehmet Sinan Tara is the CEO of ENKA Construction, Turkey's largest construction company. ENKA is traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange and operates in engineering, energy, real estate, and trade. It generates over half of its $4.6 billion in revenue from energy production, and is the leading private electricity producer in Turkey. ENKA has contracts for large infrastructure projects, and builds U.S. embassy buildings, office buildings, and shopping malls. Despite investments in Moscow commercial real estate, the Russian economy has had a negative effect on ENKA. His father, Sarik Tara, is also a billionaire and the founder of ENKA.
