2007

In early 2007, Wolfenden finished ninth on the second series of Soapstar Superstar. He performed the songs "Bad Day" (Daniel Powter) and "Don't Stop Me Now" (Queen).

2009

Wolfenden was previously engaged to his Emmerdale co-star Charley Webb and the couple have two children. Wolfenden proposed to Webb on Christmas Day in 2009. The couple split in August 2013 but decided to remain friends, in order to make life easier for their (then) only child. Since then the couple have reconciled and have become parents for a second time.
