Remembered for her famous Victorian-era burlesque troupe British Blondes, this English Dancer and entertainer also delivered acclaimed performances in theatrical productions such as Bluebeard, The Lady of Lyons, and Piff-Paff.
She began her professional dancing career at the age of fourteen as a member of the ballet company at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End.
Early in her career, she played male roles in a number of burlesque shows, including The White Fawn and Perdita.
Her first marriage, to John Tilbury, resulted in a daughter named Zeffie. Following her first husband's death in a horse racing accident, she married theater manager Alexander Henderson.
