Well known for his appearances in the variety show Party Pilipinas, he is a GMA Records Artist who released a self-titled debut album in 2006, with a follow up 3 years later called Moments of Love. He won the 2nd season of Star in a Million.
He performed in a group called First Impression from 1998 to 2000.
In 2010, he signed an exclusive contract with GMA Network and won two Awit Awards off the success of his Moments of Love album.
He was born to parents Loreto Cadevida and Justina Protacio in Los Angeles, California. His younger sister Laurie Cadevida spent years on the North American Tour of Miss Saigon in the role of a Vietnamese woman named Kim. He has a daughter with his long-time girlfriend Katrina Halili.
