Multi-time NCAA champion that initially enrolled in Stanford University as a freshman in the year 2022. After two phenomenal seasons at Stanford, he was later selected to represent the United States artistic gymnastics national team. In the year 2023, he was competing for Team USA during the World Championships and the Pan American Championships. He is also well-known through his self-titled Khoi Young YouTube channel, where he generally posts recap videos.
As a sophomore at Bowie High School, he won a gold medal at the 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. He also won gold at the 2019 Men's Junior Olympic National Championships.
While competing for Team USA during the 2023 Pan American Championships, he won his first professional gold medal after winning the Men's Pommel Horse event. Just a few months later, he won three medals at the World Championships and became the youngest American gymnast in over two decades to win multiple medals at his first career World Championships.
