Also known as Keyshia Ka'Oir, she first made a name for herself as a celebrity stylist, working with a wide variety of musicians, actors, and athletes. She then went on establish herself as a model, appearing in multiple magazines and ad campaigns. She gained national attention after being featured in the long-form music video for "Say Something" by Timbaland. The track also featured Drake. In 2011, she launched her own line of cosmetics called, KA'OIR Cosmetics, and subsequently changed her name to reflect the brand. She recently partnered with multi-platinum artist, Trina, to create a signature line of lipstick called, "Neon Rockstarr". She also speaks regularly at events focused on self-esteem and integrity, and created a lipstick color called, "Survivor", to support breast cancer awareness. Keyshia Ka'oir married rapper Gucci Mane in October 2017. Around the same time, she and Gucci began appearing on a BET reality series titled The Mane Event.
$30 Million?
On one of the early episodes of The Mane Event, Keyshia's financial planner appears to report that she has "profited $30 million" off her two businesses, Ka'oir Fitness and Ka'oir Cosmetics. The financial planner provided no evidence to back these claims up. It's not entirely impossible, but seems very unlikely based on the figures we have seen related to Keshia's finances and the prospects of her businesses. We will continue to research and reach out to Keyshia to seek more clarity on her numbers.
