Fifth overall pick of the New York Knicks in the 1986 NBA draft, his most notable on court accomplishment came in 1989 when he won the Slam Dunk Championship that year.
He played his college ball at the University of Kentucky where he was named two time SEC Player of the Year and named to first team All-American in 1986.
