Best known for her long-running role as Dineo Mashaba on the South African soap opera Generations. She starred on the show for 9 years. In 2010, she won the South African Film and TV Award (SAFTA) for Best Actress for her role on the soap.
She graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in theatre & performance and gender studies. She began her acting career performing in a wide variety of stage plays.
Between 2002 and 2006, she appeared on the South African series Backstage. Also in 2002, she appeared in the film Eine Liebe in Afrika. In both 2006 and 2011, she was voted as one of FHM's 100 sexiest women in the world.
She was born and raised in the North West province of South Africa.
She appeared alongside Connie Ferguson as a cast member on the soap opera Generations.
