NFL Pro Bowler that was originally signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Prior to signing with the Texans, he was a training camp invite for the Detroit Lions in 2008. He initially spent two years of not playing football before later signing with Houston.
He attended Baylor University from 2004 until 2008. During his senior year, he was named captain of the special teams unit.
He earned his first and only NFL Pro Bowl nod during the 2015 regular season. The Texans finished that season 9-7.
