Swiss-born Drummer who became known for his work in the jazz and electronic music genres. He founded a group called Nerve and also performed with such bands as Intergalactic Maiden Ballet, Screaming and Sulfur.
Early in his career, he toured with Pianist Monty Alexander's jazz band, an experience that allowed him to perform with singer Nina Simone and trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie.
He specialized in the jungle and Drum 'n' Bass sub-genres of electronic music.
He grew up in Zurich, Switzerland and later settled in New York City.
He collaborated with Pianist John Medeski on a 1994 album Lunar Crush.
