Starship Entertainment singer most well known as a member of the six-man K-pop boy band Boyfriend. The group has become popular across both South Korean and Japan. Their debut album Janus in peaked at #2 on the Korean charts after it was released in 2012.
He and his brother trained for two years with JYP Entertainment before joining Boyfriend. They'd appeared in more than 300 commercials before they reached high school.
In 2015, he guest starred in the KBS drama Protect the Family.
His twin brother, Kwangmin, is also a member of Boyfriend. They have a younger brother named Hyunmin.
In 2010, before debuting with Boyfriend, he and some of his bandmates appeared together with SISTAR members Hyolyn and Soyou in the SISTAR music video "Push Push."
