NHL All-Star that was originally taken as the 39th overall pick in the 2017 Draft by the Dallas Stars. He made his first NHL All-Star team in 2023 as a left winger. During his professional career, he has also played for the United States men's national team.
He first discovered his passion for hockey at the young age of four. He eventually persuaded his parents to allow him to play amateur minor ice hockey just like his older brother, Michael.
After being selected in 2019, he became the third-ever Filipino hockey player in NHL history. Fellow NHL players tim stapleton and Matt Dumba are also born of Filipino descent.
He grew up living with his parents and his siblings in the Arcadia, California area. He now lives along with his pet dogs in Dallas.
