Right-handed pitcher that was originally drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the fifth round of the 2010 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Tampa Bay Rays in March 2022. He has also pitched in the Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres, Toronto Blue Jays and the Chicago Cubs minor league system.
He initially began his professional career playing for the Kane County Cougars. He made 21 pitching appearances with the team before being promoted.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Detroit Tigers on May 5, 2018 as a member of the Royals. He recorded four consecutive scoreless appearances to begin his MLB career.
He grew up living with his family in the Omaha, Nebraska area. He now lives along with his wife, Kelsey, and their three children.
