Rock singer and performer who gained notoriety for competing in the 12th season of NBC's talent show series The Voice. Prior to auditioning for The Voice he published a cover of Coldplay's iconic single "Yellow."
He developed an interest in music at a young age through going to church. His father was a member of the Christian rock band Brother Brother which also had an influence on him.
He and his brother Dakota formed an indie pop outfit known as Plake.
In June of 2016 he married his wife Bethany.
