Video game designer best known for his work on Atari games like the infamous E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial. He has become a cult hero in video game circles, appearing at various Gaming conventions and on shows like Code Monkeys. He works as a licensed psychotherapist and is a published author.
He earned a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Tulane University and worked as an Engineer at Hewlett-Packard.
He was the sole designer of the game adaption of E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial, which proved to be such a commercial failure that Atari had many copies of the game buried in a New Mexican desert. He is also well known for the game Yars Revenge, a game which helped him become an exhibiting Artist in the New York Museum of Modern Art.
He married but never had children.
He had a role in the film Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie, co-written and co-directed by YouTube star James Rolfe. He was a primary subject of the documentary Atari: Game Over.
