Over the course of his career, he released eight studio albums, and he passed away on July 17th, 2022 at age 67.
He released his debut album, Clase Aparte, on October 17th, 1990.
With the song "Mujer Prohibida," he received his first top-ten on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart.
He was born and raised in Junana Diez, Puerto Rico.
