Photographer and author who is known for his natural landscape shots, cultural documentation, and war effort photographs. He is recognized for his work in The New York Times in Sudan and is also known for having worked as a cameraman on the Emmy Award nominated series Dying to Tell the Story.
He studied Economics and International Politics at Universite de Montreal and Universite du Quebec and then attended the International Center of Photography in New York where he graduated. He began earning spreads in several magazines including The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, and The Economist.
He is known for having won a PDN award, the POPCAP 12 for African Contemporary Photography, as well as a grant from the Pulitzer center for crisis reporting in 2014.
He was born in Morocco to a third generation French Family.
He photographed a portrait of French actress Julie Delpy and shared the shot through his Instagram in June of 2018.
