Poet and lyricist who is remembered for her T.S. Eliot-inspired song, "Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most." Her long-lasting collaboration with Composer Simon Wallace resulted in more than three-hundred songs and several music-based plays.
She attended Temple University and worked in the fashion industry for a time.
She married Playwright and publisher Jay Landesman, with whom she collaborated on several musical productions, including Dearest Dracula and The Nervous Set. Her son, Miles Davis Landesman, had a career as a musician.
She wrote lyrics for "Nothing Like You," a song that was recorded by Miles Davis.
